Today is the official date of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, the flagship fundraising event organised by MacMillan Cancer Support.  Whilst out and about in the Constituency this morning, Tynemouth Parliamentary candidate Wendy Morton called into the St Aidan’s Centre Coffee morning to join those combining fundraising with an enjoyable cuppa.

Wendy said “It was real pleasure to pop in and support the valuable work that everyone
is doing.  This is such a worthwhile cause.”

A wide selection of cakes was on offer, but it was a rather fetching Apron that caught Wendy’s eye. It was a bargain at £1 and immediately dispelled the myth that it is her husband Dave who does all the cooking!
