Another Conservative victory

Will Holloway has been declared the winner of the Woolsington Parish Council Callerton Ward By-election. Will won the election with 57% of votes cast.

 Will said: “I am honoured that residents of Callerton Ward have put their faith in me to represent them on the Woolsington Parish Council. Residents of this area complain that Callerton, Black Callerton and Whorlton are the forgotten villages. I will work hard to put them on the map and make sure they are remembered.  

“I would like to record my thanks to local branch chairman Pam Doyle, Barry Flux, Bill Thorkildsen and other members of my campaign team for supporting my campaign.”  

Jason Smith, Chairman of Newcastle Conservatives, said: “Will Holloway and his campaign team worked hard for this result. Will put a strong case forward to the voters of Callerton Ward and I know he will be a very hard working Conservative councillor.
